It’s hard to think of a better endorsement for Breton clothes than one from French Navy officers. Hosiery company Le Minor has earned this honour after producing their officer’s sweater for over 40 years. In Guidel, near Lorient in Brittany, new generations of craftspeople ensure each piece upholds a certain level of quality, be it a sweater for seafaring purposes or a sailor’s hat.
